- Categories — sync both ways. Deleting a category on your website never removes it from your register.
- Tax rates — import from Clover. A website rate can be added to Clover, but the plugin never changes a tax already on your register and never makes one the default, so your register keeps the tax setup you rely on.
- Modifiers — Clover modifier groups arrive as WooCommerce product attributes with their prices, ready for the modifier picker.
- Discounts — Clover discounts import as draft coupons. They stay drafts until you publish them, so a staff or manager discount never becomes a code shoppers can type at checkout. Whole-number, store-wide coupons can be sent to Clover; coupons limited to certain products, categories or customers are not, because Clover discounts apply to a whole order.
Each of these has its own switch under Clover → Settings → Sync, and Conflict Resolution decides who wins when the same product changed on both sides.
Clover does not share item photos over its API, so images stay as they are on your website.
