If your website and your Clover were set up separately, you already have the same products in both places. Linking connects them, so stock and orders stay in step without importing copies of anything.
Go to Clover → Link Products. It opens on what needs doing, and you can filter by Needs attention, Not linked, Linked or All, or search by name or SKU.
- Suggested — the plugin found a match by SKU, or by name ignoring case and punctuation ("TSHIRT-SARDINE" finds "T-Shirt - Sardine"). Tick the ones that are right.
- No match — nothing on the website looks like it. Pick a product on the row, or leave it: a deposit or a shipping charge belongs on Clover only.
- Linked — done. It shows the product it is linked to.
The stock step
Each row shows both counts, the website's and Clover's. Click the one that is right, or type the real number, then click Link and set stock. Both sides are set to that number and sync carries on from there.
Linking never changes stock on its own. Until you pick a count, the row says "Linked · check stock" and neither side is touched, so a Clover count of 0 can never quietly empty your shop.
Sizes and colours link one by one: open the product, and each variation has its own "Linked Clover item" box. The Products list also has a Clover column showing what is linked, not linked, or needs a stock check.
